I have the Instant Mender Leave-In Conditioner in my stash a friend gave to me. She's relaxed and said it that it didn't work too well on her hair. Said it did nothing but weigh it down too much.

Well when I tried it, I had no problems with it. When I first used it, it gave a crunchy feel to my hair. So I tried seeing if I could scrunch it and see if it would become softer and it did. Tried using it again using less, and the same thing happened. But once again, it can be scrunched out and instant softness appears. To get what I'm saying, think about when someone with relaxed hair get their hair wrapped and goes under the dryer. The wrap stays put until you comb it out and it's swanging and soft. This is very similar to that, but just a curly hair version if I might say so.

This product has alot of the good proteins in it too. HTH!

Thanks! Sure did. I bought some of the hot oil treatments and the DC. I really need to quit slacking and DC my hair once a week atleast.

I tried the leave in mender while I was relaxed and I didn't like the crunchiness either. It felt like I was just putting junk on my hair. When I straightened it, it left my hair feeling dry and stickyish

I've used the Deep Rescue Conditioner. Uh, eh... It's worthy of little more than a pre-poo. But it was only $2 at Big Lots, so how can I complain?!

I used the hot oil as a pre-poo, poo'ed, con'd with the Deep rescue and blow dried with chi leave ins. My hair feels good and I didn't experience much breakage. I might have to alternate this with my LTR. :yep:
