Has anyone tried this flat iron protectant spray? Protects up to 425 degrees++

I'm really curious about this...has anyone tried this? I've never used a got2b product.

I saw this at CVS today and almost snatched it up and then I saw Alcohol Denat as the second ingredient and put it back Anyway I emailed the company and asked why they would put that as the 2nd ingredient if it's suppose to be moisturizing to the hair but that alcohol is drying. No reply yet. I usually like Got2B products so please let us know how this works for you. Telling people that they can crank their irons up to 425° and be TOTALLY protected by their product is a pretty bold statement for a company to use so I trust they've done their research/tests but I just cannot get past the alcohol until I get a reasonable explanation from them.

I got this a few weeks ago when it was BOGO at CVS. Its just okay. I wasn't that impressed. Not enough to buy it again. I ended up giving one bottle to my sister. I still have the other one. I will keep it on hand as back up incase I am out of my other protectants, but overall, it didn't impress me.

Did it make your hair feel more dry than usual? I am wondering because of the type of alcohol they use as the 2nd ingredient.

Hmm, I saw this awhile ago too but got Redken instead b/c of all the raves. Seems like everyone here judges heat protectants by how good it makes their hair *feel* as opposed to whether it actually protects against the heat. Redken makes my hair look and feel great but I havent noticed a change in the health of my hair since I've been using it.

Wondering now if I should use this first as my *protectant* and then layer the Redken on top for the silkening effects...

I got a response from the company about adding alcohol denat as the 2nd ingredient. It really didn't answer my question. They just said they're taking my comment into consideration I also read on here that as soon as you spray anything with this type of alcohol it evaporates very quickly into the air even before it touches your hair. Don't know how true it is. Maybe I'll test a section in the very back and see how it does with weekly flat ironing with this stuff over the course of say 2 months.

Got 2 b is terrible at customer service!I emailed them about a discontinued conditioner and they said "its still available-we give retailers a huge list of products to choose from so you need to ask them to order it".Instead of looking the product up and actually confirming that it was indeed discontinued,they just gave some lame reason.They said they would take my comment into consideration too.

Hey ladies =] I tried it and I also thought it was just okay. It didnt make my hair feel fabulous, and my hair didnt feel significantly drier or anything, but it was definitely nothing to go running to home about. It will probably collect dust on my dresser until I decide to use it again for whatever reason.

Thanks for the review. I was mainly interested in the protecting properties of it. I would probably use something else with it to get the "feel good"
