Got the kinky\'s! hmmmmmmm

Well, they look nice, don't get me wrong, but do they suit ME?

The woman did them so tight as well, and told me that I must hold the twist where my hairline is, as she did it, otherwise it could really hurt, no kidding!

And the way she tore through my new growth, man I was in agony! And I thought my growth was a lot softer? If I get them or any extensions again, I have to come up with a plan to have 'comb through' growth, cos that isn't something I want to repeat again.

Anywho, i'll post pics later.

I'm just wondering, how am I suppose to spray the twists but not my scalp? Even when I tilt my head to the side, it always sprays on my scalp too, I just can't seem to get it right, any tips?

Maybe I could put the hair up in a ponytail? (once it stops hurting of course)

Hi Leslie! You aren't suppose to spray your scalp unless you are washing the twists apparently, for fear of product build up at the base of the twist.

i say just spray the hair as best you can and if some gets on your scalp oh well. how long are you trying to keep them

That's the hardest thing for ME. Finding a stylist that twist my hair and NOT my BRAIN! Try to let em be for a couple of days with no or low manipulation

You don't wanna have breakage! As far as the spray, I don't think it'll hurt your scalp, just make sure your spray is diluted. I had major build up at the base of my twist which was because I focused on my new growth and not my scalp. To be on the safe side, just evenly distribute the spray.

I still have my twists from over a month ago, and I spray my scalp everyday, I have no problem with build up whatsoever, I wash weekly, and my twista are looking fine.
