DANG YALL (mega-tek update)

my new growth is HELLA thick (excuse my lingo)
i always play with my new growth at night cuz im transitioning and i always wonder what i'm going to look like natural I CANT MOVE MY FINGERS THROUGH IT!!
anywho, iv only used it for 4 days! i use it after i cowash and i dont even get an itchy or irritated scalp so my hair must LOVE protein. it was to the point where i didnt know if i bought the right stuff lol. lets hope i get the growth spurt like everyones talking about!!

Just a word of caution. Be careful not to mistake new growth for a change in the texture of your hair. Megatek changes the texture of your hair. Well I don't know if it change the texture of anyone else's hair, but it changed mine. When I relaxed my hair broke off down to about 1 inch. I think I over processed my hair thinking the changed texture in my hair was new growth.

thanks for the advice! yeah it hasnt grown my hair yet because it thickens it first, this is the NG iv been having. but will it change the texture of my new NG?

yep, when i used megatek it thickened my new growth too. & it also did a bit of reversion on my previously relaxed hair. it ended up helping me, because applying megatek to my scalp the week before a touch-up would give my hair extra protection against double-processing, but it took a while for me to recognize the difference between reverted hair & new growth.

megatek is a VERY strong protein, so definitely remember to bump up your moisturizing deep conditioning!

should i oil my scalp with EVOO when i'm not using the mega-tek??
