Got my crochet braids yesterday!! Pics!

They are loooonnnng, lol I plan on cutting them one more time and thinning them out a bit. But she did a great job. I hope I can make these babies last till February.

I love crochet braids!! They will be my new protective style for most of 2010.

How long did they take to install? I'm sure that they will last through February.

I never had them when they were first popular but I love them now. My first set of crochet braids (taken out now) were done with springy hair and then two strand twisted. They took 4 hours to install and they lasted for 9 weeks before I took them down. I am confident that they would have lasted longer (at least 12 weeks) but I wanted to do a BKT and length check by my 2 year anniversary of my last relaxer - today 12/30/2009.

About the same amount of time, 4 hours. If I get them again I might do the curly braids next or even the loose hair, if I don't decide to B/C before the next install.

ETA: I love your twists!! Gorgeous!! I swear you can do a ton of styles with crochet braids!!
