Are your conditioning efforts defeated a few days after your wash by crackly hair?
Could the culprit be the chlorine, minerals and chemicals in your shower water?
I have been experiencing this problem even after intense DCing, moisturizing and sealing. My hair starts out feeling like a dream but as the days go on I feel like something is working against me.
I was on the organix website checking out their product line when I noticed a link for the iwater Shower Purification System www.myiwater.com. Has anyone used this? If so, did you notice a difference in your hair?
It has this “ion technology” that fuses water with antioxidants and not only softens the water but filters at the same time. The system claims to reduce up to 99.9% chlorine, remove hair dulling minerals, and helps keep hair color staying truer longer.
I have been using distilled water for my final rinse which helps a little. Just wanted some input before I invest. Also, any suggestions are welcome.
