Got a Bit of Nail Polish in My Hair :(

I'm an idiot. I'm sitting here on the phone with my mom and touching up my nail polish. Somehow I forgot that I had just painted my 4th finger on my left hand and I sort of sweep my hair back. I look at my finger and go, Oh No . The polish is all smeared up so some of it must be left in my hair. It's black polish so I doubt I could see it. I'm going to wait till it dries and see if I can feel it. Anyway, if I find a crust of polish in my hair, how do I go about removing it?

lol that happened to me before! I started panicking and immediately tried to wipe it out with a damp paper towel lol. It was a small amount, so it wasn't too big of a deal...is it a lot that's in your hair now? If it's still damp...maybe a sulfate shampoo can get it out?

No. but really how about getting a cotton ball and sliding it down your hair.

I would get some nail polish remover and get to work, then do a shampoo and deep condition

I can't even find the spot. It was black polish so I don't think I'll see it and I can't feel it so hopefully it'll be fine.

I wouldn't panic too much. Nail polish comes off with oil, that's why it doesn't stick to our skin very well, so just do what you normally do. It shouldn't last more than a day or two, no nail polish remover, the chemicals might destroy your hair! lol HHJ
