Yolanda Adams, Mary Mary, Cece Winans, Smokie Norful, Donnie McClurkin, Take 6 (more jazzy, but tight harmony!). These are a few of my favorites. Anything by them is good, IMHO. I also really like Fred Hammond. and you already got Kirk, who I also like. HTH!
Choir-ish: Andrae Crouch (his new one is called "Mighty Wind); Richard Smallwood
Praise and Worship: Israel and New Breed (any of their CDs)
Contemporary: Karen Clark Sheard
Jazzy Praise and Worship: Johnathan Butler
Edited to add: Darwin Hobbes
Many of my faves already mentioned:
Fred Hammond
Kirk Franklin
CeCe Winans
Marvin Winans
YOU MUST GET MARY MARY! I got it when it first came out. There is a song called "I Love You That Much!" Whooo! I listen to it so much that my 3 year old knows the words to the songs! Also, WOW gospel is a keeper for me. It often has songs you like without having to buy a million different CD's. Also Tye Tribbett is the bomb!
