Hello everyone. I am going to the Bahamas the end of May and would like to know if anyone knows of a good type of hair I can swim in and it would not get tangled.

thx!

I went to the Bahamas in July 05 and I wore the spanish wavy hair by Milky Way and had no problems. After swimming I rinsed it out and put a leave in on is like infusium 23 with a cream moisturizer.

Hope that helps:) .

thx. Did you have your whole head done? You had no problems with keeping your braids underneath clean too? My girlfriend had MilkyWay and she said that it tangled on her so much LOL I was thinking about going with Lugos. Ever tried them or know if anyone who tried them and had gone swimming?

when I went away recently I went to lugos on snyder in brooklyn and I swim and did everything with that weave and it looked great, when I showered I conditioner washed it and add some salerm21 and it came back bouncey and fully it looked just like my hair, my hubby didn't even realize I had a weave lol it cist 150.00 I bought it by the pound

Thanks! But not did you have the straight hair or wet and wavy hair? also, how did you care for your hair (braids) underneath? I hear you have to be really careful with that. You do not want it to smelling!

I got a curly weave similar to my hair texture, I co-washed everyday to make sure my hair got the moisture it needs and I oiled my scalp, my hair never smell at all, when I took my hair down it was back to normal no dryness or anything, it was really cool I'll probably do it sometime in summer just to give my hair a break
