I would like to find a good detangleing solution for my hair, my hair is natural and I have problems with tagles after I wash, any suggestions would be appreciated
I've tried the V05 Shine and Detangle. I didn't like it at all, it made my hair feel very hard, stiff and waxy-like. It certainly didn't detangle for me. I think that someone else on here liked it, though.

Hi Zgirl...
I think with a good detangling solution you must be aware of how to handle your hair when it's wet. First you need to use a shampoo that won't strip your hair. If that's all you have, try and dilute it and/or limit it to the scalp. The rest of your hair can be cleaned by the run off as you rinse the shampoo out. I've learned here on the LHCF it's a good thing to shampoo in the shower and not to slosh the hair all over your head. Instead, hold your head back and allow the hair to hang down towards your back and to gently massage the shampoo into your scalp. If you handle your hair in this manner it will help to minimize the tangles. When it comes to conditioning find a good conditioner that works with your hair. The ladies have and will share some good ones with you. When you rinse out the conditioner use one of those shower combs, (thanks Allandra!) that can be purchase at Sally's, to comb out the tandgle while you are in the process of rinsing out the conditioner. The proper way to comb the hair can be found on the "Hair Tips" thread under the Combing and Brushing Tips section. HTH as well.
me personally i use creme of nature's detangling shampoo and that helps sooooooooooo much. nexxus humetress (as a leave-in) and infusium 23 also help with detangling.
