Religious Fanatic - an excessively enthusiastic person who is faithful/devoted to religious beliefs, observances, practices, etc.
Good Christian - a person who professes a belief in Jesus Christ and follows/obeys His teachings and the Word of God (Holy Bible)

A true Christian is a person who has put his or her faith and trust in the person of Jesus Christ and fact that He died on the cross as payment for sins and rose again on the third day to obtain victory over death and to give eternal life to all who believe in Him.
John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”
A true Christian is indeed a child of God, a part of God’s true family, and one who has been given new life in Christ. The mark of a true Christian is love for others and obedience to God’s Word.
1 John 2:4
"He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him"
1 John 2:10
"He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is no occasion of stumbling in him."

Good Christian: A person who lives by the bibles teachings, who is selfless, kind, non judgemental and tries to draw others towards God leading by example in a non-hypocritical manner.
Religious fanatic/nut: Someone who proclaims to be saved or professes the teachings of their religion but uses the religion as a cover, otherwise known as a hypocrite. In other words a person who will preach about religion or about God, the bible and it's contents or any other religion or faith but then does the total opposite of what they've preached eg lie, fornicate, steal, be selfish, greedy and countless other things while preaching to others about those things. Also a person who has lived majority of their life as a sinner then all of a sudden claims to have become a convert and all the while continuing to live their sinful life while preaching to others.
PS: I do not claim to be either, but that's my definition in a nutshell.

vev, I didn't put religious fanatic down because I agreed with poohbear and I had nothing to add.
Two example of a religious fanatic are:
when people who believe it's a sin to have an abortion so to protest, they blow up the abortion clinic and kill everyone in it, thus sinning themselves.
another example:
A person believes that abortion is a sin, they believe it is their job to let others know, so they try to help others according to what the Bible says, not by breaking another commandment.
