Here I grow again!
Sally's had them on sale for $88. Regularly sells for $140, although i thought i saw $110 online.

I'm planning to try roller setting eventually.

Should i grab one or not? What say you?

It sounds like a great deal! Tamrin lent me her Pibbs 508 and it works SO well. Maybe Amazon might have some reviews? How long is the warranty for? Good luck.

I have a Gold N Hot freestanding dryer. I've had it for several years now and I've had no problems. I bought floor set model from a BSS. I say grab this one now. It's a great price!

Thanks, Ladies. I did grab it! :drunk:

Sounds like a good deal to me. Do they have a big hood,...

I didn't see it outside of the box. But from what the box says, it has a large hood to accommodate larger rollers. I take that as a yes. Someone else may have to confirm or correct me on that.

I'm not sure about the basic warranty but, I purchased a 1 yr warranty for $9.00.

Now to find space for it. :look:

I bought mine in 2007 and it's still working fine. I don't use it much for myself only because I really don't want to go through all the issues of rollersetting my own hair.........sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much work, too much actually :lachen:

I have used it on my mom's hair for rollersets, her hair is thinner and shorter than mine - we get great sets and can't wait to do my daughter's head when she's ready. Both are natural heads.

Here it is. Note: That's just a random site I pulled up. I bought mine at Sally's, on sale for $88 through December, while supplies last.

Oh, I have this one. I bought mine back in 2011 from Sally's too. I bought it to dry DC and to do rollersets but after my first set I gave up and just DC'd with it. Then I bought a LCL pro steamer and my dryer was only used to do protein treatments. I just bought a Pibbs Kwik Dri because I'll be mastering rollersets for 2013 and needed a bigger hood and faster drying time. I gave my gNh elite to DD. NJoy will your super jumbo rollers fit underneath this dryer??! You have a looot of thick hair...

I owned this dryer & it lasted about a year before it conked out. I wouldn't recommend it. I now own a Babyliss Pro. So far, so good. I haven't had it long enough to speak on its longevity though.

Even tho I'm going to attempt rollersetting, I don't expect to use it for that because I have no skills. But mainly, I've just never been one to be able to sit under the dryer for too long. That was one of the reasons the ionic dry sounded good - less drying time.

I'll likely be using it for DC, saran wraps, rollerset ponytails and maybe dry my my hair in braids or twists. Now, if I can get the hang of rollersetting, then I'll definitely do that. Whether I bother practicing depends on how long it will take under the dryer. As for roller size fitting underneath, *shrugs*. This is all new for me. I hope so. It says large hood to fit larger rollers so, I'll find out on Christmas.

Well dang, I got it already. Hopefully it won't konk out on me but, there's a 2 yr warranty on the unit and I bought a 1 yr warranty. Some reviews on Sally's site talks about it breaking down after while too so, I'm gonna make sure I hold onto my receipt and warranty....just in case. :look:

Thanks for the feedback. One hundred years late but, thanks. j/k
