I'm going to stay with my in laws for a week. I'm not sure what my styling options are. I cant do a rollerset, because I don't have a hooded dryer. I DO have a flat iron and blow dryer, are they're any styles that will last with excessive heat?

Your hair looks long enough to do a really cute braidout. This is what I plan to do when I go on vacation. I can wash my hair every night, then do about 8 braids. In the morning I just unbraid them and slap on a headband.

HTH!

we're going to Michigan, so I can't do the wash and go, but the braidout definitely sounds do able... I'm gonna try it tonight. ... Does you hair airdry by morning?

My hair will usually be about 90% dry by morning, but I can work with that since I'm in Georgia and we're still getting 76 degree weather. Try it and see how quickly your hair will dry by morning.

They have a dryer attachment (I think it's called a bonnet) that you put over your head. It may be a little too tight to rollerset, or maybe not. I have done it before, but I wrapped my hair first, then let it dry under the attachment. Whatever was still damp, I just blew it out. And then you can flat iron to get that smooth look. I think that'll work for you. Don't forget to use a moose or something to set your hair while it's drying. So that it can come straighter.

Enjoy your trip.
