Going from Phytorelaxer back to KeraCare

Hello all,

Back in January I used a phytorelaxer at the new salon I'm going to... the relaxer was okay but I feel it dried my hair out too much... I plan to get a re-touch in a few weeks and was wondering if the stylist could use KeraCare on my hair again or would that cause some type of damage.... what do you all suggest??? erplexed

BTW: I had been using KeraCare up until this past january.

i am Affirm/KeraCare product user myself and i would not see a problem with the switch.

I think u should be ok. IMO just don't switch back and forth between different relaxers to frequently. I dont see the harm.

Yea I am feeling like I wanna switch back to lye too. I like the way no-lye straightens my hair but after week 7 or 8 I hate the crackly dry feeling my hair gets. I honestly dont really like the way my hair feels with lye I feel like it isn't smooth enough or something but at least it doesnt feel crunchy after a few weeks. I dont know I just wish I could find something that works that I could just stick with.
