Magical Mythical Princess
first of all, i don't know whether to hug you or fuss at you! your hair is so freakin gorgeous curly! i wish you could find a way to embrace your texture and wear it curly with the proper products that allow you to control it and maintain a style you like. bun it up when you are tired of it or when you are working out to keep it under control..... instead of fighting with straight hair that is obviously contrary to your exercise lifestyle...... whew....now that i got that rant out.....
i think you should do what you feel is best, but please don't thin your hair! cut it. cut a few inches. but do not thin it out....that never works out well and it just makes styling worse.
OR relax it. i would texlax to loosen the curl some before i would go to bone straight. texlaxing won't help with reversion, but it will cut down on your detangling time.
whatever you decide, good luck pretty woman!
