sidney... is there a reason you have a thumbs down in your OP? Just asking.. good. 'seasoned' Word for today...
When seasons go away, new seasons come.
This is how our life works. There will be changes in our lives as seasons change, and we must embrace these changes if we are going to grow.
Seasons cause growth, but before growth comes, death must occur. This is also true in our personal lives and spiritual walk. If we desire to experience spiritual growth we must experience the pain and
discomfort of change. John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit
Good message. I was reading a sermon by Pastor G. Craige Lewis and he was stating this as well. To quote him:
Death is not comfortable. But, I will allow it to experience growth in my walk with the Lord.
Wow, that's so true when we consider what happens in nature. Then everything flourishes. Sounds like something nicola.kirwan shared about the seasons. Do you still have that link nicola? Thanks Sarophina. Great insight.
When I read this I thought about that article, too.
