Hey ladies,

For the ones taking this supplement, has your hair REALLY grown? I would love to know because I am just starting out and wondering if it really aids in growing hair.

Girl u just keep catching my attention, lol, I think it works to a certain extent, my face is fine and it makes my nails grow like mad, seriously if I break a nail today before the week is out its back, now my hair is something else.

My friend used it and we saw nothing, my hair grows nicely but at the same time I do so many other things to it that I can't give all the glory to the pills, so I say try them consistently till the bottle finishes and see what happens, but be realistic and don't expect wild growth.

It is what i am taking at the moment and to be honest, i dont think i have noticed a huge different in growth, but then again, i am not super consitant with it....

Well I used it, and I really don't know. When I first used it, I notice my NG was soft. But I didn't notice "OMG my hair is growing like a weed" type of growth. My face was still breaking out but my nails grew like crazy and were very hard. At the same time I was using Biotin and other type of vits and other stuff. So I can't say.

I havent gotten crazy growth, but it did pick up a tad. My nails grow really good now as well. I was inconsistent for awhile, but i've been back taking it everyday for two months now.

I do believe that these Vitamins aid more in the actual health of your hair, I'm sure it also aids in the growth, but they mainly support good health which eventually will translate to Length, which is the first step.

I take them also a couple people here say they like the hair supplements from the Vitamin Shoppe better.

Thats true alopeciagrl, I use the "Great Hair" Vitamins from their and they have more of the actual vitamins that are targeted toward Healthy Hair. these have 3000 mcg's (3mg's) of Biotin, 600 mg's of Choline and 600mg's of Inositol.

I've tried these before and they didn't work for me. They were cheaper than the brand I normally use so I thought I'd give them a try...BIG MISTAKE. My nails started peeling and breaking in like the third week. My hair was about the same though.

I like these vitamins. A lot actually. However, if you are just taking it for the hair benefits only, there are plenty of other vitamins that aimed specifically towards hair. This is more of an overall beauty vitamin. . .hence the name hair skin and nails :spinning: lol

But I like it for the benefits it gives those 3 areas. My hair was a nice bit thicker, my nails were a little stronger and my skin was a little more glowy. Nothing too major but just enough. You also take this along with a regular multi.

GNC Ultranourish hair is supposed to be good and is specialized for hair.

I took them for 9 months consistently and while my hair wasn't growing like weeds the new growth was a lot thicker than before... now my nails, I had to cut them weekly b/c they were growing like crazy... I stopped taking it b/c I started breaking out on my chest and back w/ hair bumps :nono:
