Glueing Weave Tracks to actual HAIR?!?! - Someone explain please

This is how quick weaves are done. In general, people can glue weave tracks to the base of the hair even with loose hair (Taren916 has a video where she does it on camera). They use oil to remove the tracks.

Girl where you been lol.

Some people do it but I personally wouldn't risk the potential damage....

yeah thats something I used to get done every 2 weeks smh. My base wasn't like that it was either a wrap or a ponytail with the loose hair from that smooth down. With the combo of the gelled base the glued tracks and the spritz on top of that oil wasn't all i needed to get the tracks out. This is something I'll never go back to. If I get a quick weave I want wrapping paper and a stocking cap on first.

I probably had like 2 weaves done in my entire life, and those were sew-ins.....so this is new to me. Clearly I am late. lolololol. I am not about the bonding directly to the hair tho....they can keep that.

Is this lady really installing weave tracks, using GLUE.....DIRECTLY onto this woman's hair:perplexed? I am no weave expert,is this a new 'technique' or something? I am honestly just perturbed, how in the world is she gonna take those tracks out?
:nono::nono::nono::nono::nono::nono:

Someone please educate me.

Actually if you sweat enough, the tracks will slide out on their own. Back in the day I tried this method (looooong before LHCF). I had a track or two flapping in the wind after one too many sweat sessions.

But the normal way of removal is with a glue removal solution or oil.

My 1st weave which I can't remember when that was, the late 90's :lol: I had this done. What did I know. And yes I had tracks just hitting the floor. I didn't even know about glue removal. I just washed my hair and the tracks came out. So I know this method is old if even I had it. :yep:

My 2nd and last weave in 99 was a sew in. Maybe at some point I will try it again.

Yeah girl that was the original method, at least back in the 90's before sew ins were so prevalent. The oil and sweat would loosen it up and then you would spray oil sheen to help if you were through with the style lol.
