Hey yall. I just joined the board after lurking for a good long while. I'm currently fighting with my hair trying to let it know who's boss LOL I haven't relaxed since the summertime so I have about an inch or so of new growth. I'm thinking of braiding it up next month when I start my new job and then keep it braided for a while until I get enough growth to cut off the damaged relaxed ends and go back to the braids. After that, I'll start fresh and relax it again.
I'm currently looking for both a good braider and regular stylist in Brooklyn with reasonable prices. Any suggestions? I dropped my last two stylists because one started going bald herself and that skurred me lol and the other one was extremly rude because I told her I was going to stop relaxing for a full head weave. I guess she got mad because she was going to make less money off of me. Dah well.
