I don't know about all this stuff, but I have used (and still use) Aphogee Treatment for Damaged Hair and/or Aphogee Intensive Keratin Reconstructor (It restores softness and elasticity to dry, brittle hair. It also easily and effectively repairs damage caused by chemical and heat services. I use this one every time I wash (reg and C/W) and I never have a problem. It makes my hair extremely soft. I have never had a problem with reversion.

The relaxer that I use is Silk Elements with Shea Butter and Silk Proteins MegaSilk Relaxer System Coarse Formula. I have only been using this relaxer for a little while but, it has been the best relaxer I have ever had and it lasts longer, my hair is silky (and I have coarse and thick hair) and it is coast effective costing about 14 dollar per 4 pound bucket (I am a self-relaxer). I do know and understand that people have different results with protein.

After reading this thread I think hair is too complicated and we should all shave our heads and just wear hats. :perplexed

ETA: When my texturized hair needs protein it looks relaxed. After a little protein the curls come back. :ohwell:
