quick question (hopefully someone has used this)

ANYONE used the Tea Trea shampoo by Giovanni old version?

or older AND newer version? (wondering which is better)

I purchased the older formula and it seems to be very stripping/hardening

wondering if the newer version is better or the old?

(so that I may promptly return this if the newer one is a tad bit more gentle or slightly better:look::grin:)

TIA

god bless!

I've had the old version since 06 or 07 (bought it from Costco on a whim). I currently use it diulted, concentrating on my scalp. It can be stripping but hasn't been hardening in my experience. I used it back when I was relaxed, on my own (before I knew how to wash my hair  ) and at the dominican salon and my hair wouldn't feel hardened or especially stripped afterwards.

I haven't used both, I'm assuming I've only used the new formula since I bought it a month ago
But I prefer strong shampoos, and I don't like this one I actually lather twice just because my hair doesn't feel "clean" to me. It's not at all moisturizing, but defrinitely not as stripping as other similar shampoos

All Giovanni Shampoos would probably be "hardening" to some if protein sensitive. I think I have the old formula. It wasn't stripping for me BUT I have oily scalp. I think I'll go find it lol.

I just bought a bottle last week and it does not have protein in it. It is very stripping. But it does an excellent job at cleaning my scalp.

yeah i received it last week as well... old formula though:ohwell:

:lachen: wonder how long they've had this shyyyte really:look:

My hair loves and eats up protein... no where near protein sensitive

I liked the old formula better. It gave me more of a tingly/minty scalp. It's like this one barely has any tea tree oil.
