I googled my Giovanni Direct Leave-In's bar code and it's correct. The barcode is attached directly to the bottle; no sticky paper. I bought it from either Target or Walmart; I can't remember which one..

Fake giovanni, awh naw. I have to check mine when I get home. How do you know if its fake or not? Will the bar code always be the one listed in the 2 above posts? if so, would it be the same for the liter size as well?

No, the last number(or couple of numbers) should be different for different sizes.

I just got out of bed for that :P

The first 6 digits of the UPC code should identify the company and would be present on all of their products. The last 6 digits identify the actual product description, type, size, etc.

thats crazy??? for some reason i didnt think that a product like giovanni would be bootlegged because its not all *that* expensive....
