I hear alot of talk about Giovanni Direct Leave-in. I was wondering if anyone here uses a whole line of products from them all together, and if so, what are your experiences?

I tried the Direct Leave In and didn't really like it. I think its because my hair like creamy/buttery products.

I tried one of the shampoos too, I forget which one and didn't care for it either. It was surprisingly too harsh..it stripped the hell out of my hair

I have bought their 50/50 Shampoo, their moisturizing condish and the direct leave in. I hate the shampoo actually b/c i feel like it leaves my hair way too stripped even though its suppose to be moisturizing. The condish and the leave in are wonderful for me though. They make my hair reallly soft/moisturized and manageable.

I guess I am one of the only ones- I love my Giovanni. My scalp acts funky at times, so I bought the Tea Tree Triple Treat poo/condish combo, and I absolutely love both.

I can't use the shampoo everytime I wash my hair, cause it does kinda strip, but I love my how makes my scalp feel. Then again, The condish is surprisingly mosturizing and detangling, which makes up for the shampoo, IMO. Plus, since there are no sulfates, the poo doesnt lather THAT much, which is to be expected.

I also have the Direct leave in, which I also really like. I find it to be very mosturizing, without being heavy.

I am looking to buying another one of the other shampoos for more frequest use.

I love the leave-in and conditioners..but the shampoo was so so harsh..I have a few bottles left so I will be adding oils to them & probably pre-pooing so I can use them up..then back to Aveda

I love the Tea Tree Poo. IT has really cleared up my dandruff. I use it full strength on my scalp and when I need to clarify. On the length of my hair I dilute it and mix it some Suave condish w/it.

Hey, I love it, it has really turned my hard to deal with texlaxed hair around.

I pasted this from my fotki:

Im am badly underprocessed due to the Motion's Salons Herbal Line and detangling is a big chore as my hair matts together. I did a pre-poo with Keracare Essential Oils and at first the Giovanni Magnetic Shampoo wouldnt lather, so I though great, another product to give away! Then it did lather the second time round and once I rinsed it, it felt clean and soft but not stripped. I undid my braids with my fingers (I wash in 10 braids) and usually at this point it is tangled or stuck together, but I was quite shocked that this time it wasn't. I then added the Giovanni Magnetic Conditioner and it felt soft on contact, but still I was sceptikal as this happens with most conditioners and after you rinse them out, the softness disappears with it. I went under the steamer for 10 mins with it and when I rinsed it out it was still very soft. It wasnt as tangled as it normally is with Keracare. I then added the Giovanni Direct Leave In, and the comb glided through, I couldnt believe it. The Giovanni Frizz Be Gone was then added to each section I rollerset and the comb again glided through, I normally have to fight the rattail comb through, but these products are amazing! It was so soft after it dried under the dryer, a bit heavier than I'd liked but very healthy, soft and manageable. This softness lasted for over a week and a half with no extra product added!I couldnt have wished for more.

Since then I have also used the Tea Tree Poo, it is a little harsh but I normally follow up with the magnetic poo and con and its soft and super clean. I have tried the 50:50, still not as soft as the smooth as silk or magnetic lines. They have just opned a whole foods in london. They dont have the magnetic range at the mo but I'd say the next best thing is the Smooth as Silk Poo and Con....
