Ginger for hair growth

Last week I bought some ginger because I loved ginger tea and haven't had it in a while. I actually have a pot on the stove now. Ginger is good at increasing circulation. I found this scalp treatment recipe.

This excellent, easy-to-make scalp conditioning formula really gets your hair growing! It uses ginger, considered one of the most powerful herbs in Ayurveda. With its potent stimulating properties, ginger increases the blood circulation to the scalp which can result in faster-growing hair.
Warming, stimulating, and great for your scalp and hair!
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon finely grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame or jojoba oil
Directions:
  1. This formula can be applied either before or after shampooing. If applied after, be sure to rinse extremely well.
  2. Combine the ingredients, massage into the scalp, and leave on for at least 30 minutes (you can leave on overnight to receive the maximum benefit).
  3. Shampoo or rinse out with tepid water.

Have you tried the mixture on your hair?

I wonder if I can do some ginger tea and just spray it on my hair when I do my deep conditioning?

Not yet. I'm thinking about trying it starting next week. In one of the links it someone talked about making a spray with it and another talked about boiling it and rinsing with it.

I am doing cayenne pepper too I might try this just don't wanna have too much blood flowing to my head..
