ghetto hair

I have to say that the only ones I agreed with were: super obvious wig line, teeny tiny pony tail, super obvious fake ponytail, tracks showing, and pasted gel head. I sorta agree with shaved sides and wacky embellishments.
I am all for expressing yourself with your hair, whether that's wacky designs or loud colors (or both). I'd just be leery of how people might prejudge me or how it might affect my credibility at work or school. I roll my eyes when people complain about such things then wear wacky clothes or wacky styled hair. If you don't work at Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, are not on vacation, or are not in costume, maybe the styles would be more appropriate if so.
I've actually done nieces hair and they've requested candy on the ends and I think that's cool, as well as other strange embellishments. IDK how I feel about a grown man doing the same...
And some people do shaved sides looking "cute" and "edgy," especially when their makeup is beat... But some people choose one of the least possibly flattering hairdos for themselves with shaved sides. I met one such lady on the bus. I concluded her friends have no taste or don't care to spare her embarrassment. But hey, if she likes it, I love that she's confident enough to rock it.
The vast majority of obviously fake hair I see is totally tore up to the point that I wonder WHY. Everyone knows how terrible it looks but the people rocking such hair genuinely feel that's the best hairstyle available? I guess. I will take my Celie plaits that I undo at work for a braidout any day over that. Lol
