I have the Dabur brand. I've only used the Amla lite and so far, its a keeper. I can see where the smell would be a turn off as its a bit pungent, but it doesn't bother me.

I apply it as a prepoo to my roots and put a plastic cap on for about anhour before I wash

Yes it does look much thicker, and very pretty too. I'm working on thickening mine too. Congrats to you.
