Getting mirco braids next week

Decided to transition with the aid of mirco braids/braids in general

!!!!!!
Questions that I currently have about them:
1) How do you wash them and how often? The same with conditioning?
2)How do you take them down?
3)How long can they remain in the hair?
4)What care should I do to them before they are rebraided again?
5)Should I cut off any relaxed hair in between braiding/wearing of them? If so,how much?
6)Products rec for use during the time they are in?
7)How do I avoid the knoting of the hair once I take them done in order to wash it for the first time?

Hey, girl, I wear micros but since I do them myself, I tend to get away with a lot... Like wearing them 24/7 or washing as often as I want. I think you'll get very good guidance on maintaining braids from www.growafrohairlong.com If you have further questions after reading that, ask away.

The only thing I'd emphasize is don't let whoever does your hair attach any extension piece that is thicker than the section to which it is being attached to. In other words, they should attach either equal or less hair per section. The idea is not to exert too much weight on your scalp that your hair gets yanked out!

Uhmm...that's not really how my hair looks. Only looks like that after I drink Polyjuice Potion with someone else's hair in it.
