Get Your Hair Done For Free: May 26 & June 23!

Hey Ladies!

I apologize if this has been posted already. Just wanted to share that Kerastase is sponsoring 2 free days of hairstyling (including blow dry). May 26th for the Eastern States and June 23rd for the Western States. A $10 donation is suggested, but not mandatory.

I have never used Kerastase products, nor have I been to the participating salon which is closest to me... But since the price is right, maybe I will go...

Umm...though I am a bit hesitant because most of these salon probably only deal with white patrons.

Definitely looks interesting, however I have the same concerns about their expertise of black, naturally curly hair. Is anyone from Chicago familiar with any of those salons? I may be willing to try.

Well, I just called one near me and you have to make an appointment...
This particular salon DOES have someone there who does African American hair.
So call for yourself and make an appointment and ASK if they have someone there who can handle AA hair. I did tell her my hair is relaxed so dunno if that makes a difference.
ermm no...didn't make an appointment tho...
LOL, don't want any heat on my hair til July...even if it IS free.

Of course the only salons here are in Northern VA.

Well the 26th I will still be in these senegalese twists....and even if I had a private jet to go to the west coast in June, my summer sew-in will be installed by then...

....but I look forward to seeing who goes for it
