Someone here just did that style for their daughter. They posted this week. I will try to see if I can find the thread.

Each section you see parted is held down with a ponytail holder and then after you have all ur sections you twist each hair in place and Bobby pin.

Ditto. I tried the style in the video on an old twist out and used 4 ponytails. I think the style in the original post is similar and maybe done on blown out hair.
