The stuff that I was using recently ain't cutting it anymore. I need to try some new products... I don't care if it makes my hair hard, I just don't like it frizzy :nono:

bump... I would like to know too...
I'm taking a trip to Frankfurt for two weeks... I may have to dash out for products... I'm a relaxed 4a/4b.

I just came back from New york and spent 200 dollars on hair products because of that same reason there are no great products in germany!
I would probably recommend buying aphogee and mizani products online!
The only thing that might be ok are the Organic products from the afro shop and the hair mayo! You could also try Joico they do sell these products at select salons through out Germany and they are the bomb, they sell them in Hannover also but they are very expensive!Just go on the Joico website and look for a seller near you!

If you're natural and you don't have access to a lot of products, I would just buy some olive oil or jojoba oil and a good moisturizing conditioner of any kind for dry or damaged hair.

Oldcrayons, your hair is so short now that your can conditioner wash every day and follow up with a little olive oil :)

i live in germany. and there aren't any good products here. but i will tell you to get some acv or baking soda to battle the very hard, calcium rich water here. i use a acv/water mixture everytime i wet my hair, and it is definitely a part of my germany, well, europe survival kit. after using that i apply any product to my hair, and they work just fine. i hope this helps.

I was trying to avoid packing my stash of products but looks like that will be the best bet. I wont rely on Germany having good hair stuff. Thanks!

oooh. Thanks! I will be sure to pack it. My hair loves ACV and Baking Soda. I use it very regularly. My hair would have been a mess with the hard water.

I stopped using shampoo. I use the Cowboy Magic Demineralizing Conditioner to co-wash my hair. I purchased it online from valleyvet.com - the same place I buy MegaTek. I just recently purchased (before Feb 1st) a Wella conditioning mask from a German salon and I liked it. Wella is based in Darmstadt and all of their products sold in Germany are designed for the hard water. I get good moisturizing results from Suave Humectress conditioner. The Nexxus Emergencee and Joico K-Pak Reconstructor work well with Germany's hard water also. I noticed here in Germany I have to use a higher amount of American formulated conditioners to get good results.
