I bought and tried the generic version of Nexxus Humectress, just because the price was much lower and according to the Sally's manager, it was exactly like the real thing. It was not, in my opinion. It has a different smell too, like chemicals, and I experienced a lot of shedding. I gave it a good trial period (about 2 weeks) and that was enough!

I would of took it back, especially after she said that it was exactly alike. Sorry to hear that it didn't work though.

I have used the real and generic Joico K-Pak Reconstructor. The real one is a bit thicker... The only major difference I noticed was the price.
