Deep Thinker
During your HHJ have you seen LHCF women use hair care practices and said something like "that's too extreme" or "that's too much work" or "that's not necessary", etc??
You figure.... MEH.... I'll get there without doing that. But then you end up thinking hmmmmm... my progress isn't so great
so maybe I should give it a try?
For example, I moisturize my hair daily and at first I was just rubbing the moisturizer in my hands and rubbing it through my whole head. My stubborn behind thought, there's no need to actually section off the hair like that. What a waste of time, the moisturizer will make its way there. Then I thought, maybe those few broken hairs I see are the ones that didn't get the moisture??
So I started sectioning it off and woweee, my hair appreciates it.
I was also stubborn about sealing afterwards. I said, MEH....that's too much trouble, the moisturizer is on there, where's it going to go? Thinking, my hair should be satisfied because it's much better than I did pre-LHCF when I didn't moisturize at all so that's good enough.
Another one I was also stubborn about was the steamer. I thought, what difference would it make from my heating cap? But once again, woweee, what a difference!!
So now I feel like I'm turning hard-core!! It's taken me 1.5 yrs but I feel like I really know my hair now.
Anybody care to share any other practices you held off as a last resort?? My very last resort if I stop progressing is rollersetting with no heat.
erplexed At SL it's not the prettiest sight for me.
