Garnier Fructis

I just got a sample in the mail of Garnier Fructis and I was just wondering what you guys thought of this. I'm kind of scared to use it.

I've only tried the Fortifying Cream Conditioner for Dry/Damaged Hair (the tall bottle) and I hated it. It made my hair feel very rough and hard when I rinsed. I have the 3 Minute Masque, but I haven't tried it yet. A lot of people on the board like it. Do a search.

I bought them both a long time when they were 2/$5. I bought them because they smelled so good.

I like the 3 min mask, no I love the 3 min mask.

that baby looks too cute! Give your little santa a big kiss for me.

Since so many people have gotten good results, you should definetly try it. But I hated it more than any conditioner I've ever used or even come near. (Ok, maybe that was a slight exaggeration

But seriously, it was some BAD stuff for my hair. I had to rewash it again and my hair felt 10 times better after I had reshampooed it with creme of nature and not put ANY conditioner on it at all. That stuff left my hair tangled, EXTREMELY DRY, brittle feeling, rough feeling, looking like a hay stack.

My results were basically the same as soslychic! I can do without it. I have seen posts about clarifying before using it, but I would prefer to just leave it alone. I also had to rewash and recondition after using it. My hair felt like a brick. It was one of the worst conditioners I have sampled so far. I don't feel too bad though, because it was cheap. Trial and error, that's my motto!

I got a sample in the mail too, and I didn't like the regular conditioner too much. I don't plan on trying the shampoo either.

soslychic it coulda been the Creme of nature. It tends to have that effect on hair, it provides so much buildup that when you mix it with some conditioners it works against the hair and not for it.

just try washing your hair with it not only will u feel the buildup, youlll see it after drying some white nasty flaky stuff on your skin.

I LOVE it for braid outs. It makes the hair come out nice and wavy and soft. Its very detangling and has slip. Make sure you section the hair as you put it on so it gets all over. After rinsing I leave it on as a leave in too. Luverly.....

Well I've used a lot of conditioners and many I have had good results with even after using the creme of nature. It dosn't seem to me that I have experienced build up. I don't have any flakes on my skin, hair, or scalp and my hair dosn't feel coated. It did feel slightly coated when I used the green/white one, but when I used the professional one I felt the same slip and moisture without the build up so I can't say I think that it's the shampoo. This is just probably one of those things that didn't work for me.
