Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Leave-in Review????

The few times I've heard of this product it was just of people saying that they use this. I tried to use the search box but couldn't find much of anything. Are there any reviews on it?? How did it make your hair feel? What do you use it for? Braid-outs? Roller Sets? Flat Ironing? Is it better for naturals? Relaxed? Both? I NEED TO KNOW!

Here is a picture of it.

I used it for my twists with a combo of greg juice and a little shea butter. It made my hair feel so soft and moisturized. BUT I think it has cones either way I saw a lot of vids on youtube with women stating after they used it a while they experienced dryness. I stopped using it and replaced with Elucence

I've used it. Nothing to write home about. I still have a nearly full bottle. If in a pinch and there is nothing else available I may use it again.

i use this when i'm doing rollersets and it makes my hair super shiny and soft. i don't really like it on when used on dry hair, though.

I just bought it to use to help me transition. Figured it would help me keep my new growth smooth for straight styles; I will use when rollersetting. I'll post after I've tried it. It does contain -cones, but also Argan Oil and the bottle claims it is for "frizzy, dry, unmanageable hair" and that it will keep your hair sleek for 3-days.

Since I'm transitioning, I need some -cones right now and with summer approaching, I hope the 3-day sleek claim is true.

It smells GREAT, btw.

I use it and have been for a few months now and I LOVE it!!! Great for detangling and leaves my hair super soft afterwards. And a little goes a long way since it's sorta on the thick and creamy side.

I used it in my relaxed days and loved it. Gave my hair mega slip and left it super soft.

I started using it when I was natural, then forgot about it once I relaxed. Now that I'm using it again, I can really feel the difference in my hair. I use it as my leave in after I wash my hair and I also have it in a spray bottle mixed with water. I've never used it alone on dry hair, but this is my hg leave in. If I ever go natural again, this is coming with me. I can really feel the difference when I wash and don't use it. I highly recommend it!

I used it when I first went natural, and liked it a lot better than NTM. I've since moved on to Ouidad. On the flip side, one of my boys who's got 4a hair, his hair Hates it with a passion. It makes his hair feel crispy, and trashy...and it took a week or so to get it back soft. So, if your hair can't take cones, this isn't the leave in for you.

I have this, it is pretty good. I found my HG leave in though, so it has made its way to the back of the cabinet.

Ive used it on my relaxed and transitioning hair. Watch out for buildup bc of the cones though. I think if you use cones, you need to clarify or at least use a sulfate shampoo from time to time.

I have a full bottle of it. Dont care for it. it makes my hair coated and then dry afterwards. the actual condish is magically delicious though.

I used this tonight on my dry hair because I can't find my Scurl and I'm desperate. My hair feels hard and crispy. ugghhh I've never used it on dry hair before and now I know why. This stuff sucks on dry hair. I'd def recommend using only while hair is wet.

Just bought it, second time using it after a co-wash. Mixed w/ 100% coconut oil just to twist up for the night. Not sure how I feel about it yet but I love anything Garnier. My hair doesn't feel dry or anything and it is a bit softer.

Do I desperately need it? Not quite sure, this is my first leave-in actually. We'll see!

This used to be my staple leave-in conditioner (and before that, the now discontinued, curl and shine leave-in was my staple), until they came out with the argan oil version. For some reason my hair does not like this new formulation. It doesn't hate it, but for some reason it makes my hair feel a bit coated - like the moisture is not sinking in like it used to.

So I've been on a search for a replacement leave-in.

i'm natural and I only like it with about 1/3 added water and a squeeze of glycerin. adore the smell- very yummy.

This is the base I use for my KT lv-in mixture. My hair loves this. Then I seal with the oil of choice.:yep:
