Fun hair color + professional environment = ??

I've always wanted to do some fun hair colors. I was looking at this

And thought it would be perfect. There's also a cherry brown that might be more subdued. I'm trying to figure out if I would need to bleach my hair first before doing this, since I just want to do a small section it's not a big deal. The only problem for me might be hiding it when I start working and when I go into drill. I think purple hair would be frowned upon.

Any ideas on how to pull this off without getting into trouble? I figured if I do a section on the inside of my hair, I can have it show when I wear my hair out and it'll be hidden if I put it into a bun for work/drilling.

I have pretty dark skin so I don't have very many options for hair colors. Other than this one I've been looking at dark cherry browns, which are a bit more passable. I don't wanna look cray though.

if in doubt don't dye your hair at all. what industry will you be working in that also plays a huge part. although i like that color bleach will make it even brighter. its more subdued on darker hair.

If you're in need of color you can always just do a clip on and have that colored.
