I am having an issue where I cant view images posted as a link to another site, and I am viewing full text for alll links instead of buttons, for example align, bold, smiles are showing the html code and not the image... if anyone can help it would be highly appreciated....

I have tried on both IE and firefox....

If this is on all sites, In IE go to tools>internet options>advanced tab and click the button on the lower right that says "restore defaults" , and also on the general tab, delete files and delete cookies.
Close and restart your browser and see if that helps. Normally it's just because the show/view pictures has been deselected.
