Frizzy hair that won't hold a curl, what is wrong?!

Hey Ladies,

I need some real help. My hair is in twists right now.
Usually I can style my twists w/bantu knot sets,
braid outs, and roller setting. But right now my hair won't
hold any style. I've tried gel and setting lotion on both damp
and dry hair. It looks cute when I first take the rollers or whatever
out but by the time I get where I'm going the curls are gone and my hair has
shrunken up. My hair is completely dry when I take it out in
the morning meaning the setting lotion etc.. has dried. This
has just been a problem in the past couple of weeks and it's so
annoying.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I use Taliah Waajid protective bodifying mist
moisturizer, for hold I've tried IC gel, Taliah Waajid setting lotion, and Ecostyler
gel. These products have worked for me in the past but nothing
is working now, maybe it's just humid here rt now I'm not sure. But
regardless I have pics to take this week and I don't want to look
a mess. Any tips?

Have u tried clarifying your hair? When my hair starts acting stupid like that, its usually time to clarify.
