Frizzy ends with Carusos

I just fell in love with my hot rollers. So easy to use, but I get frizzy ends every time.

Actually, the top part of my hair, where I use the jumbo rollers, gets frizzy ends each time I do my hair. Even when I use smaller rollers in the top part of my hair, I get frizz. Bottom part of my hair never gets frizz. How weird!

I used end papers today and last night I put a little castor oil on my ends.
I also tried setting my hair without the end papers or oil and still.... FRIZZ.

Any ideas

Could the rollers be too wet?

could be that I'm heating them for too long.

I'm texlaxed. not sure if that makes a difference. just set my hair again and this time I warmed the roller no longer than 10 seconds.

we'll see how it turns out.

I'm texlaxed also and have found that around seven seconds works for me. I think that ten seconds is way too long. The moisture does make my hair revert a little bit though if I've flat ironed it smooth.

set my hair again tonight and left the rollers on for less than 10 seconds.

my set turned out much better.

I do mine for about 5 sec...and that is the perfect time! Just keep decreasing your time to see what works best.
