I always make sure that my ends are really wet when I roll them. Also to rollerset I use water/leave in cond/coconut oil/EVOO all in a spray bottle. Right now I have Motions leave in but I guess any moisturizing leave-in could be used. Oh and I make sure that the rollers are taught, if one gets loose then it doesn't curl as nice. HTH
