Can anyone tell me what the flat iron thing is with the red light in this video? What's the name of it and what does it do? And what is her opinion of it (if mentioned)?

(for some reason, I'm unable to comment on the video)

It's shown at minute 3:40

Merci :)

She had a clarifying poo, then a moisturizing poo. The stylist detangled her hair after applying a mask. Shen then went under this dryer to help the mask penetrate. Finally what you asked about, she called a " special iron" to help the product penetrate even better to help prepare the hair for the straightening process.

she said that the stylist used a special flat iron to help the product penetrate the hair shaft!
I use to use that technique when i didn't have a steamer, I would wrap a my flat iron plates with foil and use it on low heat to push products into hair shaft!
she was happy with the flat iron job and after over week, the result were still the same.
hope this help

Interesting... thanks for your help. I wonder if the iron was hot. I think it's this but there are no details listed.

That was helpful! Thank you. :) It's an interesting alternative to a steamer. I'll have to find out more about it.
