French Bouffant Roller Group Buy

Don't anybody go getting all excited! It seems these guys also do not normally sell to individuals (professionals only) so there would be a lot of persuading to do. Although they do have a few store locations too, I wonder if they carry the rollers or if one can place an order there with them...hmm, so there could be options. In any case I'm straight out of commission until at least July! :sleep2:@MileHighDiva has to also be on board, this ship can't sail without her folks! Lol.

I call dibs on 2 packs of 1.5 inch rollers or whatever is a little more in size for a "in the future" order. :look::hand: Not even trying to hear it next time:lol:
LOL look here we not doing this now! :spank: I'm not even going to post the prices because y'all crazy and nope! :lachen:

Yup, I was like oh snap!:happydance: Thanks for everything @Amarilles

More rollers you said? I have some cash in my paypal right nowwwww!
Y'all go head and keep it up! I'll be :sleep2: :sleep2: :sleep2:

@Daina For now we're getting ready to wrap this current order up but I've noted to tag you if another order happens.

Actually as we've ordered from 3 different brands, it may be worth it to hear some reviews and comparisons between the three. Looks and quality-wise they look fairly the same to me...except maybe for inside the roller. It could be interesting, especially comparisons from those of you who will have rollers from all three brands (I think like @lulu97, @Missjaxon, @meka72) to simply make sure that these rollers would even be worth a bigger order, in terms of quality.

I'll find out how we can place an order with this new brand/vendor nonetheless, for future reference of course

The rollers seem to have made it! Only I wasn't home so will pick them up tomorrow and will hopefully have time to ship everything out tomorrow too. We'll do exactly as last time, I'll send it out first to be sure of the price, will post up receipts and will then invoice you ladies for the cost split evenly. There's 19 ladies, so we'll be dividing the total by 19.

Took over a month y'all, but we nearly there!

We have everything folks :yep: It was all too much to take with me to the post office alone though, I thought I could fit it in one of them old lady pull carts but nope, not even close! I'll have DH drop me off tomorrow morning, now I'd normally drive myself of course but learning the stick is still in my to-do list

In this last box the vendor sent two different brands of roller, Da Capo and Centaure. The rollers we bought last time was Mezzo, yet Sibil claims to be the original/first to create them. I've compared them all briefly, all brands look fairly the same except for the visible wiring/threads inside some, some are slightly bigger and longer than others, and some weigh a lot less too. Hopefully they're all equally durable, despite the differences.

A future order would have to be with the distributor selling Da Capo and/or Centaure as the other two are all out. We should probably wait for reviews/comparisons before considering them, to make sure they'd be worth it.

We're all shipped! We used one massive box which costed 160€.

I'm always tempted by the 55€ XL flat-rate box but it's just too small at 38x25x19cm...we would need too many of them. Instead I reused a huge box we kept when we got some furniture last month, and thanks to the newbie at the post office I had zero issues! Normally its dimentions are not accepted, but the noob didn't even blink twice  When he took the box to the back to weigh it, the guy behind me was like "that box is way too big you know" and buoy! There are not enough shutyonosybehindup deathglares in this world! :fishslap:

The price chart by weight, our box weighed 17.49kg (38.55ish pounds)

The total of 160€ by 19 equals a nasty little uneven number, but maybe we can invoice 8.42€ to the first 17 ladies who submitted their roller payment and 8.43€ to the last two, to avoid overcharging folks.

I'll send the invoices later tonight. Ladies please don't forget about that pesky PayPal button! If you tick it, make sure you're paying exactly as per your invoice, not under/over. It's easier to leave it unticked, as the box has already been paid for so there's no protection needed.

And again the goods will only be shipped your way once both the international and domestic shipping are covered!

Aaaand!

Oh no!! I am so sorry ladies my dad has been very sick therefore I have been MIA on this :-( did I miss the opportunity? Can I still pay?

Lmfaooo you chased him?

Girl, yes! With that dreaded little peach slip in my hand and no shoes :lachen:

The kids walking home from their after school activities were like WTF! I'm scared those lil buggars have camera phones with video.

But, tomorrow it'll be inconvenient for me to go to my USPS.

He said the box was in his truck and that he'd drive back around when he was finished. I guess they try to deliver stuff that's too heavy to carry, before they deliver the mail and smaller packages.

Okay ladies, I've sent invoices for the domestic end of shipping to everyone. Everything will be sent via USPS Flat Rate with tracking.

Please don't forget about the PayPal box. It's easier if you don't check it. If you elect to check it please cover the PayPal fee. TIA!

Please note that I will not send your rollers until @Amarilles has been reimbursed for the international leg of shipping.

Eleven orders/packages were scanned into the General Mail Facility (GMF) about 45 mins ago. My order from USPS has not arrived yet for padded flat rate envelopes. So, there's three packages that I was able to get into legal flat rate envelopes, in the interest of getting the rollers out to their owners.

I’m going to Paris this summer. I think I’m going to pop into a BSS to see what I can see. If they have them I’ll be ecstatic. I got in on the last round and still have mine but would love to pick up more. Are you guys still using yours ?

I still use mine and have a set of 50mm (~ 2 inches) that I never used.

Yes I am. I’d like some more. I don’t have enough for a full head.
