, I was researching hard water and it's effects on hair.I came across this number.
It's from the Diamond Crystal company, they manufacture water softening products, and if you call
1-800-428-4244, you get a water test kit with a test strip, a bag of water softening salt, and a bunch of information on hard and soft water. I just called myself, they don't ask for any billing information or anything, just a name and an address to mail the kit to you - free. My city has hard water, so getting this kit would help in knowing just how hard it is and what I can do about it. I just thought to share.
