Fotki Album *gasp*

Nothing to brag about. Just wanted you guys to put a face to a name (somewhat). This is what I am claiming as my starting point, although I have come a long way thus far.

I am considering minimizing the constant use of instant-weaves as a protective style b/c my hairline and front section in general are thinning as a result of constantly pulling the hair back. I may attempt to rollerset my hair 2x per week instead to give it a chance to do it's thing. What do you ladies think?

Your pics look great. :weird: Your hair looks thick and healthy. I think your rollersetting idea sounds great. I also think the instant-weave can cause damage to edges.

Thanks! Just trying to be like you!!! I updated the pics so they will show up a little bigger (not necessarily clearer though).

I am feeling really good right now.

I think your hair looks nice a thick, but please be careful of instant weaves! I've done them on my clients and I always advise them to stay away from them, I think that a sew in is more healthy if installed properly. Rollersets are a great for protecting your hair too!

Your pics look good! I also think rolleretting is a good idea as well. I was never motivated enough to do them 2x per week though. I just used flexi rods once a week and that would last me to my next wash.

Re: Fotki Albumn *gasp*

Thanks for the encouragement ladies! I am committed to growing my hair (and feeling much more optimistic about it) so the 2x per week shouldn't be much of a hassle. The whole instant-weave thing is getting kind of boring anyway (I wear mine pulled back in a ponytail). Plus, I was starting to become dependent on them. I will pin curl at night and see if my rollersets can last the entire week for less manipulation.

I am loving YOUR hair. What is your regime and what did you do to get your hair so shiny in the last few pics in your album?
