I have about 4" of 4b natural hair and have an appointment for a texurizer consultation tomorrow. My goal with the texurizer is to reduce shrinkage that is at about an 80% rate on me.
I wash my hair once a wk followed by a deep conditioning treatment of conditioner mixed with olive oil (30min under the dryer). I mostly wear protective styles but desire to wear out styles (minus so much shrinkage) as the weather warms up.

Questions;
-Can you still do two strand twists and have them stay together at the ends?
-have you noticed excessive dryness?
-have you noticed excessive breakage?
-Is deep conditioning once a wk enough?
-how is your shrinkage now?
-how often do you get a touch up?
-does the type of relaxer matter?
-do you require more protien treatments?

Thanks in advance for all replies. Peace
