Do you sit under the dryer on low or medium or do you just air dry.Because I like doing roller sets everyweek or rather than every 2 weeks. but air drying takes so long. cause yesterday I did 4 hour air dyr and 30 mins on mde and last 10 on cool seting is that ok. I mean I want to limit the amount of heat I use. so I just want to know if this is safe.

I don't think it will damage your hair, especially if that is the only heat you use.

I do mine at least once a week and sit under the dryer on the medium setting.

I'm under the dryer for about two hours on medium but I put a large shower cap over the rollers as I'm concerned about heat, too.

I've never had a problem with heat from a hooded dryer. I've read that heat from a hooded dryer isn't considered bad like heat from a blow dryer, curling iron, flat iron, etc.

Thanks for the replys because I was worried I was damaging my hair.

But since its okay that would be the only heat that I am going to be using thanks. Off Topic but I am really going to miss you guys since I won't be here after August 1st. But Thanks for everything

sometimes i airdry, but if i plan on going to sleep i will use the hooded dryer on medium for an hour or so

I either sit under a dryer for 30 minutes with a high heat setting and then let it airdry

OR

I let it airdry overnight and sit under the dryer for about 15-20 minutes with a medium setting

I usually don't get good results with air drying. I usually just put the blowdryer on medium and sit under it for an hour.
