I was shocked, but I really had a "good hair event," last weekend, when I switched from No-Lye Affirm to an Revlon Relaxer. Good product!

I am not able to go to beauty supply places since moving outside the US and I cannot find any lye relaxers...at all. I'm going to order online. But I've been using the ole cheapo dark n' lovely no-lye since the beginning of time...When I finally do relax again after I take out these braids, I'm switching to lye and am not sure what I'll order online. /images/graemlins/confused.gif

Dionne:

My daughter does my touch-ups. She buys some kind of no-lye botanical relaxer. I had a lye relaxer years ago and it grew one side of my hair down to my shoulders & the other side was "maybe" an 1" long. Luckily my hair on top was long enough to cover the short side. So...I'm reluctant to make the switch.
