For those who are self braiders...

and burn the ends, what is a good brand of braiding hair? I've been buying Kanekalon, but I just can't seem to burn the ends properly. Back in the day when I had my hair braided, the hair used was very easy to burn. Am I doing something wrong?? Help!!

How are you burning the ends? Do not cut the ends before you burn them, just burn them at the length you want them at.If you cut then burn, the ends will not burn properly. Also try making your braids smaller, so that the ends are easier to burn. As far as I am concerned, Kanekalon is the best hair to get if especially if you plan to burn the ends. I've found that with other types of hair, the hair literally melts in your hand (not a pleasant feeling).HTH

i tried with my eletric curling iron, but it didn' work. I also tried burning them on th stove, but the hair didn't melt at all, just burned kinda like normal hair.
I really want to achieve that look.
