For those that rollerset with end papers

I love to roller set my hair. Unfortunately, I do have to use end papers. Previously, after my hair would dry, I would notice that the end paper would stick to my hair and I would have to almost tear it out. While trying to remove the end paper, some hair would come out too.

MY solution? Before using the end paper, lightly mist the end paper with spray sheen or olive oil. Added benefit, also seals in any leave in conditioner you have added to your hair.

I know that spray in a sealant after the mositurizer and then wet set. This unfortunately did not solve the problem for me.

This has worked for ME and just wanted to pass along.

Can someone please tell me how to use the end paper with rollers; and also what do the end papers do for the hair?

You take the end paper, after you section and smooth your hair, fold it over your hair and use it to stretch the hair while rolling. I don't use the oil or sheen, but the oil that I put in my setting lotion mix, keeps the hair from sticking to the paper.

Or, you can wrap the roller in the end paper and roll like that. HTH.

I could never get the hag of using end papers. Are you using mesh rollers? I find that I dont need them since I use the magnetics.
