I have a 2 year old, and I normally keep her hair braided up (yes, I'm starting her off with protective styles 
) But she is so young and rambunctious (sp?) that I have to bribe her to get her to sit still for me. I usually give her ice cream or some other treat, or let her watch Barney, then she's good.
As for the relaxer thing, I'm personally not planning on relaxing my daughter's hair until she's at least 12. And even then, I'm not sure if I will do it. I may even keep it natural. Seeing all these natural heads on here, its so pretty!
