It made sense.
I use the same thing to 'freshen' them up that I initially used to twist them - no need for additional products. I give myself twice weekly scalp massages using either amla oil or a growth aid, and I'll retwist any particularily fuzzy/puffy ones then.
So you wash and do your regular conditioning regimen and then twist it with nothing added extra on them to hold the twist?
When you twist your hair (indivudal twists) are you adding some type of cream, conditioner, pastes, etc. to make the twist stay a long time and not come down and what do you put on the scalp/hair weekly to keep them up and fresh? (did i ask this right?)
I always use some butter or homemade concotion to twist my hair....
Of course - everyone's hair is different and responds differently. My hair Wont stay twisted with out some product.

i use ORS lock & twist gel, it works well for two strand twists for my TWA
I finally did twists that I actually wore outside the home last week, I used Homemade Jojoba Oil gel and hey held up nicely. One week later I still have them. Tomorrow, I will cowash them and probably unravel and retwist which shouldn't take long because I'm going to use the same parts I have in my hair.
Honeycomb I am going to try your gel!
Thanks
